Foundation of an agricultural machine plant on the outskirts of the town Vetschau.

1948
"FAGEB Vetschau" was assigned to the industrial association "WB LOWA Görlitz" and was converted from a private company to a state company.
Production started on structural components for the maintenance of locomotives.
1953
Trucks for mining, industry and agriculture were added to production. The company changed its name to "VEB Förderwagenbau Vetschau".
1966
The plant was renamed "VEB Waggonausrüstungen Vetschau".
1970
January 02nd, the first complete set of bogies was delivered to "VEB Waggonbau Görlitz".
1990
The plant was renamed "Waggonausrüstungen Vetschau GmbH" as a subsidiary of the "Deutsche Waggonbau AG". In December, 25,000 bogies were completed.

1998
"Deutsche Waggonbau AG" was taken over by "Bombardier Transportation". The first low-floor articulated railcar for trams was produced.
2003
The Vetschau plant was sold to foreign investors. May 01st, "TransTec Maschinenbau GmbH" was founded.
